JOB DESCRIPTION

At Great River Care Center we understand that every team member contributes to our success and our resident’s enjoyment of life. We take pride in offering a friendly work environment that our employees can look forward to coming to each day. We are now interviewing individuals for a part-time housekeeping position.

This role ensures our resident’s living spaces are clean and tidy and their clothing is clean and cared for. This is a key role in our resident’s care and our residents greatly appreciate this helping hand. They often enjoy the relationships built with our staff and look forward to your visit.

 

Essential Functions:

1. Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with facility policy.
2. Observe waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy.
3. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
4. Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
5. Identify and report any equipment malfunction to the supervisor.
6. Report any observed area within the facility that is in poor repair to the supervisor.
7. Dispense soap, paper products and other housekeeping supplies throughout the facility as needed.
8. Assist with laundry duties.
9. ETC.
