Thank you all for helping us make the visits run as smoothly as possible. We know that they are not ideal, and we would love nothing more than to have everyone inside and back to the way things used to be. But, we have a duty to balance the guidance set before us with what we feel the residents and you deserve, so we will keep trying to provide the best we can while we can! With that being said, the visitation schedules for outdoor visits, open window visits, and video chats are up on Calendly and ready to be scheduled. The evening and weekend times are first come first serve and are limited in availability.
Please remember those three types of visits must be scheduled. There are several reasons for this including the need to keep our log current and matching of who was at the facility and when in case of an outbreak, visits need to be monitored (although we try to allow privacy during the visit), and staff are needed for the screening, clean-up, and set-up/help with visits. We try to remain flexible with the scheduling, and if you call for assistance you are very likely able to set up a visit for that same day, but scheduling is required non-the-less.
As a reminder, the symptoms you will be asked about are: sore throat, new or worsening cough, new shortness of breath, chills, headache, congestion or runny nose (not related to allergies), muscle aches or body aches), new loss of smell or taste), new or worsening fatigue, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, or any known exposure within the last 14 days. If you answer yes to any of these questions or have a fever of 100.0 degrees or higher we have to deny your visit. It is hot outside, so our suggestion is not to come early, run the air conditioner in your car if you are able, and wait in the shade or breeze for your temperature check. We know it is hot too, so we'll try to help you cool off too!
