A Note from the Administrator
It is hard to believe that we are in the dog days of summer already, where has the summer gone?!
I wanted to take this time to remind everyone on our policies for visiting tenants/residents as well as taking residents tenants on outings. While we strongly encourage visits there are guidelines that must be followed to keep our residents, tenants, and staff healthy.
We ask that visitors call ahead to visit as we allow two visitors in a room at a time. Calling ahead and scheduling a visit will ensure that there is no overlap in visitation.
Upon entrance to the facility visitors will be screened by staff. The screen consists of a temperature check as well as being asked a series of health questions.
If visitors can show proof of vaccination, and if the resident/tenant is vaccinated; the visit may be without the use of a mask or social distancing! Give the hug!! Masks must be worn when not in the visitation area ex. to and from resident/tenant rooms.
If unvaccinated or unable to provide proof of vaccination, mask use, social distancing and handwashing /sanitizing must be completed prior to the visit. This policy is for both indoor and outdoor visits.
Families are also able to take their loved ones out. However, each situation will be evaluated separately to mitigate the risk of exposure to the resident/tenant as well as the rest of the facility.
I will continue to update families of any changes. If anyone has questions, please do not hesitate in contacting me, I am here to help.
Kindly,
Katrina Landt
