We would like to take this time to remind families that with the changing of the season and the cooler weather coming, that it is a good time to come in and rotate your loved ones clothing/outfits from cooler summer clothes to warmer winter and fall clothes. It is very helpful if you mark any and all clothes with their initials with a permanent marker.

A kind reminder to remember to bring in your loved ones body wash, shampoo and conditioner, etc. We do supply our body wash and shampoo combo, however we do like to treat our residents extra special on their bath days in the whirlpool tub.

And since we have so many new faces I would like to remind families that residents are not allowed to have the following:

  • Disposable razors (they can be kept locked in the Med Room and a Nurse or CNA would have to shave them) Electric razors preferred. I have had families ask what I would suggest for the women, and we have found that the Flawless Finishing Touch razors work wonderful for facial hair. They can be found at Walmart for under $20 and it sort of looks like a lipstick tube.
  • No aerosol cans (hairspray, deodorant, shaving cream, cologne, perfume, air freshener, etc)
  • No wipes (even if they are the flushable kind, we cannot have them)

Any questions, please feel free to reach out and ask!
